Five & Ten, Athens' longstanding fine dining restaurant, is looking for a line cook to join our kitchen leadership team. We're open to two kinds of candidates, someone who already has management experience in a professional kitchen, or a seasoned line cook who is ready to step into that next role and has the leadership instincts to back it up. This is a hands on position for someone who loves the craft of cooking as much as the work of building a strong team around them.

What we're looking for:

Exceptional cooking skills and a genuine passion for the food
Ability to effectively manage kitchen staff, motivate the team, and assign duties fairly
Familiarity with best practices in the restaurant & hospitality industry
Solid knowledge of health and safety standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, point of sale systems, and restaurant management software
Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure during a busy service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong leadership qualities, whether you've already managed a kitchen or you're ready to grow into it

Compensation: Starting at $18/hr based on experience
